SNAP
Welcome to the Study of Nutrition in Acute Pancreatitis (SNAP) website. SNAP is a randomized clinical trial designed to test two feeding methods, distal jejunal and nasogastric. The goal of the trial is to determine which of these two feeding methods provides superior nutritional delivery and disease outcome in patients with severe acute pancreatitis.

SNAP is funded by the National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and consists of a Coordinating Center at the University of Pittsburgh and seven clinical sites across the United States.
